Getting the most from a recruitment consultancy

There is so much as a consultancy we can offer candidates apart from the obvious. Working with a consultancy is not as simple as waiting for the phone to ring, which often leads to wasted time and unsuccessful interviews.

The keys to dealing with a consultancy are understanding and communication. These are best achieved by meeting one of our consultants.

During your initial meeting we will cover the following;
  • Your Experience, Abilities and Aspirations.
  • Your CV, its layout, appearance and content.
  • Discuss your objectives for a career move.
  • Identify key factors in a new position.
  • Approach any potential problems and obstacles.
  • With your cooperation, identify potential targets.
  • Agree actions from then onwards.
This meeting allows us to get a full and proper understanding of what you are after, and ultimately find the right role for you. It will also enable us to be more proactive on your behalf, identifying potential employers whom you may not have considered. Equally, you will then understand how we work and what we are going to do for you.

Secondly, the other key is communication. This is essential for the process to run smoothly. We need to know your thoughts and feelings, honest feedback! If there is a problem, it has to be dealt with straight away. Recruitment moves at a lightning pace now with modern IT and pressures on business, and it is important that we have a clear and open communication passage!
